 Support during COVID times

How I can help

With schools closing for the second time I know home schooling your children is challenging. However, I can help you with teaching your child or children with maths and English during this current situation. During the first lockdown in March, I adapted face to face tuition to online tuition to ensure none of the students missed out on their education. This worked very well and it continues to be an excellent tool, providing safe and effective education

How I can help

I offer as much help as you need for your child to still progress in school. I am currently remote for the time being which means my service is contact free but still in the comfort of your own home so it is as safe as possible. I do video calls on any social platform that can do them e.g. zoom, facetime, skype etc. This way means I can still offer my 1-1 service for you, I can offer the help your child needs to succeed in this difficult and strange time period.

What I will do

Firstly, I complete assessments to enable me to get up to date English and Maths levels. Once I have these levels, I then discuss my findings with parents.  I then use the National Curriculum from your child’s year group, from your chosen subject (maths or English) in order to create fun and informative lessons for your child. The lessons will support the work they are being sent home from their school, this is to strengthen their knowledge in all subjects to enable each and very pupil to progress. I am available at all times for parents to contact me either by text, what’s app, email or via the website. I always keep parents informed of what is being learnt and the best way forward to enable their child to make as much progress as possible. I prepare individual worksheets for each and every pupil. I send the worksheets via email and the parents then print these out ready to start the lesson. This I find works very well both for the pupils and parents as the parents can see the work I have prepared and the pupils can see the work before the lesson starts.
